Super Teachers: Erik Weidenboerner

NSU’s University School teacher Erik Weidenboerner

NSU’s University School Robotic Head Coach and Teacher Erik Weidenboerner, was selected as this week’s super teacher. Mr. Weidenboerner’s award-winning robotics program teaches his students critical-thinking, problem-solving, and team work.

Last week, NSU University School Sharks Robotics teams won two special awards at the 2018 Florida State High School VEX Robotics Competition in Tampa, Fla. They were recipients of the Design Award for their robot having the best design and function in the state of Florida, as well as the Think Award, which is presented to a team that best utilizes autonomous programming modes during the competition.
