Shark Attack: Every Week is Shark Week in South Florida
The Shark Fountain is one of NSUs many displays of Shark Pride.
Most people know about Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week, but the Sun Sentinel made sure those people know that in South Florida, Shark Week is much more than once a year. Along with other areas of South Florida, the newspaper highlighted various areas on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus, as well as its school mascot, Razor the Mako Shark, to demonstrate South Florida’s shark pride and love for marine species.
