Saeed Rajput, Ph.D., of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Discusses Classes on Mobile App Technology
In an interview with the Sun Sentinel, Assistant Director of the Division of Math, Science and Technology in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Saeed Rajput, Ph.D., announced that the college offers classes on mobile applications providing that students who enroll must have taken basic programming and a web class for preparation. “The class is popular,” Rajput said. “Everybody has a phone and they think it’s cool.” Rajput added that he has observed that younger students tend to develop mobile games while older students tend to create more “useful” applications. “In last semester’s class, a student created an app to measure blood alcohol level to avoid driving when it is too high,” he said.
