Ring in “The Year of the Rabbit” at NSU Library’s FREE Chinese New Year Celebration – Feb. 27
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Celebrate the dawning of the Year of the Rabbit and extend your commemoration of the Chinese New Year with a cultural showcase at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center.
The Feb. 27 festivities are presented by the Palm Beach Chinese Performing Arts Group and the Chinese Association of Science, Education and Culture.
From 2 to 4 p.m., the groups will perform Chinese folk dance and songs, play traditional instrumental numbers, and demonstrate Chinese Tai Chi Fist, Mu Lan Fan, Peking Opera and more.
This event for all ages is FREE and open to the public. It will take place in the Alvin Sherman Library, which is located on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave. in Davie.
