NSU’s relief efforts for Japan featured by multiple local media outlets
In response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, NSU’s Office of International Affairs, the Nova International Student Association (NISA), and other campus organizations have been working closely with the Consulate General of Japan in Miami to coordinate relief efforts. Several media outlets have covered NSU’s March 31 vigil and the April 18 “Stand Up for Japan: A Comedy Jam” fundraising events, including:
- Miami Herald posts “NSU to hold candlelight vigil for Japan Thursday night” on 3-30-11
- Sun-Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel post “Nova Southeastern University holding candlelight vigil for Japan’s quake victims” on 3-31-11
