Kelsey DeSantis, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) undergraduate student, president of the Heroes Entering Life’s Opportunities (H.E.L.O.) foundation and NSU’s Student Veteran’s Association, was interviewed on NBC’s 6 in the Mix alongside former contestant of NBC’s “The Voice” Michaela Paige. During the live interview, which broadcast on Nov. 14, the two discussed efforts at honoring Veterans and promoted NSU’s first annual Freedom Fest held on Nov. 16.
