NSU’s Veterans Law Clinic to Offer Free Legal Workshop on Military Discharge Upgrades
FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. The Veterans Law Clinic at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Shepard Broad Law Center will offer a free workshop for South Florida Veterans seeking to change their military discharge status. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 by appointment only at the Shepard Broad Law Center located on NSU’s main campus – 3301 College Ave., Davie, FL. 33314.
The workshop will provide much-needed legal services to South Florida’s important veteran community, while offering an opportunity for Veterans Law Clinic students to gain valuable real-world experience while being supervised by the clinic’s staff attorney. At the workshop, veterans will receive one-on-one counseling services that may assist with discharge upgrades.
