Nova Southeastern University Welcomes Tony Award Nominee Christine Andreas

Lyric Soprano to Perform February 6 and 7 at Miniaci Performing Arts Center

Ft. Lauderdale (Davie), FLA. – Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will host two evenings of performances with lyric soprano and two time Tony Award Nominee Christine Andreas.

Andreas will perform Feb. 6 and 7 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center located on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave in Davie.

The Miami Herald referred to Andreas as “a lyric soprano with a distinctive, gorgeous voice, Andreas illuminates the mood and meaning of each song through her considerable acting skills.”

Andreas received two Tony nominations for her work as Laurey in OKLAHOMA!, and is well known to audiences for her heart stopping performance as Margaret Johnson in the National Tour of Light In The Piazza.

Open to the public, tickets are $50; with special VIP tickets available for Saturday, Feb., 7. VIP tickets include a preferred seating section and a post show cocktail hour. Andreas will meet with guests at this private reception.

Tickets are available through www.miniacipac.org, the call center at (954) 462-0222 or in person at the Broward Center box office. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Henderson Mental Health Center.
