Nova Southeastern University Theatre Presents A Modern Retelling Of Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella

Ft. Lauderdale (Davie), Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Theatre presents Cinderella by American songwriting duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein III, with performances March 28 – April 6.

NSU Theatre’s interpretation of Cinderella is a modern and hip retelling of this classic fairy tale musical. The musical will be PG-13 in content.

Performances will be held in the Black Box Theatre (University Center), located on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave, Davie.

Performance dates and times:
March 28-29 – 7:30 p.m.
March 30 – 2:00 p.m.
April 3-5 – 7:30 p.m.
April 6 – 2:00 p.m.

Admission to the play is free, but reservations are required. To reserve seats, email nsutheatre@nova.edu or call (954) 262-8179. NSU Theatre is part of the Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences.

As the university’s performance company, NSU Theatre introduces high-caliber dramatic works to the South Florida community and connects students with practical theatrical experience. Participation is open to all NSU students, faculty, staff, and the local community. The Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences also offers a bachelor of arts degree in theatre.
