NSU Study Helping Save Rhinos Featured in Multiple Media Stories

Harper_et_al_White_Rhinoceros_cow_and_calfStephen O’Brien, Ph.D., a research scientist at NSU’s Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography, worked with colleagues across the globe to create a DNA database of rhinoceros that will be used to help with the criminal prosecution of poachers. The results of the study were published in the journal Current Biology and have been part of multiple media stories.
