NSU Professor Weighs in on the Governor’s Race Between Two Polar Opposite Candidates
Florida’s race for governor will offer the first major test of the Democratic and Republican party bases.
NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences professor Charles Zelden, Ph.D., spoke with NPR about what key things to watch between Democrat Andrew Gillum and Republican Ron DeSantis. He also points out important pieces of business both candidates must do, such as selecting running mates and bringing out certain types of voters.
The goal, according to Zelden, is persuading Democrats in the Panhandle to cast their ballot.
