NSU Physician Recommends Routine HIV Testing

Farzanna Haffizulla, M.D., FACP, FAMWA, assistant dean for community and global health for NSU’s College of Allopathic Medicine (M.D. College), was quoted in an article titled “Busy Doctors Embrace Routine HIV Testing” on CBS Miami’s website. The article, which is sponsored by the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, cites Dr. Haffizulla’s recommendation to almost all of her patients to get an HIV test to help catch the virus early and prevent it from spreading.
