NSU Law Center to Hold Winter Graduation Ceremony
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla.—The Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University will host its winter graduation ceremony for 40 graduates and their families on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center on NSU’s main campus.
The ceremony will include 22 graduates being awarded a Juris Doctorate degree and 18 graduates being awarded a Master of Science degree in areas of health law, education law or employment law.
A unique aspect of the ceremony is that each graduate receiving a J.D. degree can choose to be “hooded” by a family member or faculty member who has had significant influence on his/her academic career. The hooding ceremony will be followed by a reception in the Law Center atrium.
