Pres Hanbury Somersteins Levan

NSU President and Fellow Dr. George Hanbury, NSU Inductees Susan and Barry Somerstein, and NSU Fellow Alan B. Levan

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. — Nova Southeastern University (NSU) celebrated its Fifth Annual Fellows Society Celebration on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Grande Oaks Golf Club. The Fellows Society is a group of more than 500 individuals, corporations and organizations who have made cumulative gifts of $50,000 or more to support the mission and vision of NSU. The evening was full of celebrations as 29 new inductees were honored, and hundreds of Fellows were recognized for their generosity and commitment to NSU.

The Fellows were inducted by NSU President George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., Jennifer Anderson, Ph.D., vice president of NSU’s Division of Advancement and Community Relations and Alan B. Levan, chair of the Fellows Society and NSU Board of Trustee. The Fellows Society members are NSU’s highest level of philanthropic benefactors who actively advocate enhancing the university’s visibility while building personal and professional networks.

Fellows’ Way, a pathway on the NSU campus, honors the Fellows Society members who have given to NSU since its founding in 1964. Fellows’ Way is located in the heart of the NSU campus, between NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center. The architecturally intriguing monument features seating areas on each side and is gracefully landscaped.
