NSU Holds Vigil for Lives Lost at Tree of Life Synagogue
The tragedy that took place Saturday at a Pittsburgh synagogue, which resulted in eleven lives lost, has devastated the entire nation. Monday, the NSU community stood together in a solidarity vigil to honor the lives lost at the Tree of Life Synagogue.
Gary P. Gershman, J.D., Ph.D., professor in NSU’s department of History and Political science, spoke with Local 10 News about the concerns with violent acts in America, and how there may not be a middle ground for people on both sides to meet in given the polarized environment of today’s society.
