NSU Graduate Wins Georgia’s Superintendent of the Year Award
Curtis Jones, Ed.D., a graduate from NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education, recently was honored as Georgia’s Superintendent of the Year at the Georgia School Board Association’s Winter Conference in Atlanta.
The GSSA said it was Dr. Jone’s initiatives to get more students reading at grade level and increasing the district’s graduation rate that made him stand out. Dr. Jones accredited the district’s progress and teamwork over the past years for his award.
