NSU Cancer Research Scientist Featured on NBC Six in the Mix

Jean J. Latimer, Ph.D., director of NSU AutoNation Institute for Breast Cancer and Solid Tumor Cancer Research and associate professor in NSU’s College of Pharmacy, was recently featured on NBC’s 6 in the Mix.

Dr. Latimer spoke about innovations in breast cancer research and ways to lower chances of developing breast cancer. She mentioned that living a cleaner lifestyle and making better choices with the brands of cosmetics you apply can make a difference in prevention. Dr. Latimer also spoke about NSU and its partnership with AutoNation, and the huge impact it has made in being able to fund experienced staff and innovative research.
