Nova Southeastern University to Host “Children First” Event
Event Showcases Professions in Psychology and Counseling – Learn to Be a Superhero!
FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University faculty and staff and individuals interested in working with children as a clinical psychologist, school psychologist, school counselor, behavior analyst or more will all be part of the 2015 “Children First Event. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, June 19 at NSU’s Maltz Psychological Building, 3301 College Ave., Fort Lauderdale (main campus.)
Attendees will discover the exciting professions of psychology and counseling! The event features a panelist presentation, “Children First,” followed by breakout sessions in a variety of specialty areas that promote the healthy academic, behavioral, and social emotional development of children. Explore professions that make a difference in children’s lives — at schools, in private practice settings or engaging in developmental and applied research.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided and the event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited – those interested in attending should RSVP online at (www.nova.edu/dais/sharkchats).
