Nova Southeastern University Names Associate Dean for Library Services in the Shepard Broad College of Law
Vicenç F. Feliú to Also Serve as a Professor of Law at NSU

FORT LAUDERDALE/DAVIE, FLA. – Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) is pleased to announce that Vicenç Feliú has been named Associate Dean and Professor of Law at its Shepard Broad College of Law.
In addition to serving as a professor of law, Dean Feliú will be the Associate Dean for Library Services of the Panza Maurer Law Library. He will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the law library, in conjunction with Jon M. Garon, the Dean of the College of Law, and working closely with the Alvin Sherman Library, a public-private partnership between NSU and Broward County.
“It is very fortunate for our students that a legal scholar with such deep knowledge and unique expertise will join us to direct the Panza Maurer Law Library,” Garon said. “He is an excellent professor as well as an accomplished library director. We are thrilled to have him join our faculty.”
Dean Feliú was most recently the Associate Dean for Library Services and Professor of Law at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law in Pennsylvania. Before that Dean Feliú was Director of the Law Library and Professor of Law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, where he also taught International Human Rights and Advanced Legal Research.
Dean Feliú teaches Advanced Intellectual Property/Cyber Law and Copyright Law. Prior to entering academia, Dean Feliú served as a Major in the United States Marine Corps and as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.).
Dean Feliú received a B.A. in Linguistics from California State University, Fullerton, both a J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce & Technology from the Franklin Pierce Law Center, and a M.L.I.S., with a Law Librarianship Certificate, from the University of Washington.
