Nova Southeastern University Hosts Teacher Career Development Day with Free School Supplies – Sat. June 26

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – As one of America’s largest schools of education for more than 40 years, Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Fischler School of Education is a powerful resource for teachers seeking guidance in a changing academic world.

On Saturday, June 26 the community is invited to join Fischler School faculty and advisors, who will host a Teacher Career Development Day from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The morning of free interactive sessions will feature:

  • Lesson planning with “make and take home” plans
  • Interactive curriculum tutorials in high-demand areas including reading, exceptional student education, leadership, science, ELL and TESOL
  • Professional career guidance and financial aid information
  • Free school supplies with a valid teacher ID

This is a great chance for teachers to start planning a path forward in today’s changing environment.

Don’t miss Teacher Career Development Day: Saturday, June 26, from 8:30 a.m. to noon on NSU’s Main Davie Campus, 3301 College Ave., in the Alvin Sherman Library.
