Nova Southeastern University to Host Open House at its Palm Beach location
Event to Offer Free Brain Based Interactive Workshop
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla — Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will host an Education Expo during its March 3 Open House at its Palm Beach Student Educational Center (SEC). The Expo will include a free interactive workshop on brain- based learning. The Open House and workshop will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
NSU’s Abraham Fischler School of Education will present the free workshop which will be led by Denise K. Kelly, Ed.D. Kelly’s previous public school teaching experience consists of nine years of certified teaching of K-12 children and youth with disabilities in a variety of placements. She has more than 10 years of experience in teacher education, with a particular emphasis on teaching and learning and brain-based teaching and is currently serving as Director and Program Professor for the MS & Ed.S Brain-Based Teaching (BrainSMART) degree programs at the Fischler School of Education at NSU.
“The Open House is a great time to learn about all the various education programs NSU offers at the Palm Beach Gardens location,” said George Dungee Director of NSU’s Palm Beach Student Educational Center. “Prospective students not only learn about our curriculum but they get to see the state-of-the-art educational facility we have.”
The Open House provides an opportunity to learn about the vast array of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs NSU has to offer. In attendance will be program representatives, faculty and staff who will answer your questions about programs, scholarships, grants, student affairs and financial aid.
