Nova Southeastern University to Host Chemical-Free Cleaning Expo at the Don Taft University Center Arena
FORT LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will host a Chemical-Free Cleaning Expo/Conference on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the Don Taft University Center Arena on the main campus located in Davie, Fl. Event organizers contend that approximately six million pounds of artificial cleaning chemicals are dumped into the environment annually and that advances in the cleaning industry are making it possible to thoroughly sanitize commercial, institutional and residential buildings without resorting to potentially toxic cleaning chemicals.
Presented by NSU and the Chemical-Free Cleaning Network, members of the cleaning industry, contractors, facilities and real estate managers, and interested members of the general public will hear from industry professionals and others for whom chemical-free environments are a must for their home and work environments. Attendees will also see informative presentations and exhibits presented by innovative industry leaders.
The first 200 attendees will receive a free copy of the Extreme Green Cleaning book, a $19.95 value. This book is an authoritative guide to understanding and implementing your own toxic-free, chemical-free cleaning program. The producers of the Chemical-Free Expo also have a special free eBook download offer. A Chemical-Free Cleaning Guide for Your Home provides clear guidelines on how to change the various tasks and frequencies of cleaning activities to better protect yourself, your family and the environment. It’s available at www.cfcn.info/freedl.html.
Throughout the Chemical-Free Cleaning Expo, guests will find emerging and available technologies promoting solutions to environmental problems, ideas on how to green your world by saving energy, reducing pollution, recycling, healthy living, and using non-artificial chemical cleaning products. The expo’s seminars will be of interest to the general public and eco-friendly businesses around Florida and the nation.
Admission is FREE and open to the public. Registration opens and the conference begins at 8:30a.m., runs through 5:00p.m.
