Nova Southeastern University Bahamas Offering Workshops for Professional Adults

Nassau, Bahamas — January 17, 2014 –

Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Regional Campus in Nassau, Bahamas is offering a 12-day program for adults seeking to continue their education. Minds Forever Opened, running from February 7 to July 26, is an Adult Education Certificate of Completion program from NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler School of Education’s Centers for Advancement in Leadership and Learning (CALL Fischler).

Minds Forever Opened is a pivotal series of seminars for working professionals who want to enhance their knowledge and leadership abilities in effectively delivering adult education opportunities and working with adults. NSU’s Fischler School of Education will be hosting these exclusive seminars through the CALL’s professional development expert, Karen Bowser, D. Ed.

The Certificate of Completion in Adult Education will develop and enhance skills and knowledge in adult learning, participation and motivation, methods for delivering adult education, planning programs, evaluating and assessing learning, critical issues in adult education, and making successful presentations.

Students who successfully complete all 12 days in the program will receive a certificate of completion, 10 CEUs, and access to NSU’s world-class Alvin Sherman Library until April 2015.

Karen Bowser, D. Ed. will lead the program in a unique format that engages and enriches learning. Dr. Bowser is an award-winning educator who has spent her career developing and delivering innovative learning and educational programs in a variety of corporate, government, and academic settings.

Registration fee is $875 per part.  Payment for part one is due on January 17, 2014.  Payment for part two is due on April 25, 2014.
