President Donald Trump is calling for the elimination of the diversity visa program that allowed terror suspect Sayfullo Saipov to enter the U.S. from Uzbekistan in 2010.

In a recent interview with CBS Miami, Dustin Berna, Ph.D., associate professor/director of Institutional Assessment and Planning, NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, spoke about Islamic fundamentalism, terrorism, ISIS, Middle Eastern politics and explained how young people become radicalized. During the segment, Dr. Berna said, “Young people have a very radical interpretation of the Islamic faith.”
