Frederick Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D.

Frederick Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D., interim executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., vice president for Advancement and Community Relations were featured in South Florida 100, a forum where South Florida’s most influential people weight in on current events.

Dr. Lippman talked about the importance of local elections. “We are going to have a number of elections in Broward and Palm Beach counties and I think it is imperative that people use their right to vote. The essence of our freedom is based upon the ability to make our views known,” said Dr. Lippman to the Sun Sentinel.

On the other hand, Dr. O’Flannery talked about some of the events that took place in South Florida to commemorate International Women’s Day. “I was thrilled to see the programs and events taking place in South Florida for International Women’s Day. I am proud to be a member of the Broward International Women’s Club, which has been in existence for 43 years and whose membership represents 40 countries,” said Dr. O’Flannery.
