Get A Jump Start on Your Holiday Shopping at the 12th Annual University School Merchandise Mart

Day of shopping, food and fun set for Wednesday, Oct. 28

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE Fla.—Mark your calendars for a spectacular day of shopping, food, and fun, as it is time for the 12th Annual University School Merchandise Mart on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

This boutique, hosted by the University Family Organization (UFO), will be held in Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s DeSantis Building from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. that day. The event is free and open to the public.

With more than 50 vendors selling merchandise for all tastes and budgets, this is an event not to be missed. The mart will help you get a jump start on your holiday shopping list, featuring everything from dinnerware, home accents, jewelry, and handbags to apparel for the whole family, sports memorabilia, and much more.

Be sure to bring an appetite, as the extensive food court will also be serving an impressive array of salads, sushi, pastas, and other delectable dishes from local restaurants and caterers. The “USchool Sweet Shop” will also help satisfy the cravings of even the biggest chocoholics and sweets fanatics with baked goods including brownies, cookies, pies, and cakes and candy.

The UFO is comprised of parents of students currently enrolled in University School. This parent-volunteer organization has made the mart a successful tradition at the school for the past 11 years. The chairs for this year’s event are Kelle Berkeley, Jennifer Chase, Stacey Fisher, Nicole Groll, Melissa Grosfeld, Kimberly Pushkin, and Randi Schwartz, all of whom are active members and volunteers of the UFO.
