Famous NSU University School Alumni Star in Unprecedented Performing Arts ReUnion Show on Dec. 27

Actors Seth Gabel and Josh Gad Join Additional Past Performing Arts Students in Unprecedented One Night Show

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – University School of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will present the Performing Arts Alumni ReUnion Show: The Tradition Continues starring former students including famous alumni Seth Gabel and Josh Gad on Saturday, Dec. 27. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Parker Playhouse, 707 NE 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale.

Featuring show stopping numbers from musical theater classics such as Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and A Chorus Line, the show brings together alumni from four decades of University School history, including professional actors Seth Gabel (of CSI and Dirty Sexy Money) and Josh Gad (of 21 and Putnam County Spelling Bee).

Thanks largely to a prevailing sense of teamwork and a deep love of the arts, each of the participants have successfully overcome such challenges as time and distance to create this performance.

And with email, phones, and the Internet as an aid the ever-growing team of cast, crew, choreographers, directors, and pit members have learned music, dance moves, and dialogue in their respective cities to reunite and recreate their favorite musical memories for this unprecedented one night only performance.

“It’s an exciting and very creative show,” said University School Band Director Dave Walker. “They’re all very talented people and they’re working so hard. It’s tremendous that they’re going to pull off something like this.”

A limited amount of tickets are on sale starting at $15 and can be purchased in person at the Parker Playhouse Box Office, online at www.parkerplayhouse.com, or by phone at (954) 462-0222. Post-performance “after party” tickets can also be added to any order for a reception at the Cinema Paradisio, at 503 SE 6 Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
