Eric Young Named Assistant Dean of the NSU Law Library & Information Technology Center and Assistant Professor of Law

FT. LAUDERDALE (DAVIE), FLA.—Eric Young has been appointed assistant dean of the Law Library & Information Technology Center and assistant professor of law at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, it was announced by Athornia Steele, dean of the Law Center.

Young has served in a number of capacities within law library and technology services at the University of Northern Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase School of Law and the Barkley School of Law.  He has also served as judicial law clerk in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Ohio, and he has held the position of litigation associate at both Boehl, Stopher & Graves in Kentucky and Sebaly, Shillito & Dyer in Ohio. 

“Mr. Young’s experience in academia and legal practice will assist us greatly as we strategically move forward to ensure the Law Centers constituency, especially our students and faculty, receive the finest of library and information technology services that will enable their effective learning, teaching and research,” Steele said.

Young holds a Juris Doctor degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and American Association of Law Libraries.
