Early Voting for the General Election Kicks Off in Florida
Early voting kicked off in Florida this week, with many universities serving as early voting locations for the first time including NSU. Charles Zelden, Ph.D., professor of history and political science in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, was interviewed by several media outlets about early voting and the implications of the voters who turn out for this election.
Dr. Zelden emphasizes how early voting sites on college campuses are not just for students, but for everyone to take advantage of. He also says that by offering early voting sites on campuses, it should increase voter turnout among young voters.
