Dana Mills, Ph.D., Director of Ph.D. program in Educational Research and Evaluation at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education, was recently interviewed by Your South Florida PBS. The segment included a breakdown of the recently passed education budget bill, HB 7069. The focus of the discussion revolved around the bill’s controversial provision that allows for state funding to be allocated towards the construction of charter schools.  Dr. Mills explained what the bill means for school districts and how it may affect families in South Florida.
