CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AWARENESS SEMINAR GIVEN BY EXPERTS
MIAMI, Fla. — Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Center for Psychological Studies will offer a seminar on Saturday, Dec. 1 by experts about the impact and prevention of child sexual abuse. Speakers include Lauren Book, founder of Lauren’s Kids, and Jan Faust, Ph.D., faculty, NSU Center for Psychological Studies.
The free seminar is designed for professionals, teachers and community members interested in learning more about the topic and the Safer, Smarter Kids curriculum. Attendees will learn about NSU’s psychological services available to the community and receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the seminar.
The free seminar will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at NSU’s Miami Student Educational Center located at 8585 SW 124th Avenue, Miami, FL 33183. A continental breakfast will be provided.
