Bug Chase 5K Raises Money for Local Children
Last Month the Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis held the 10th annual Causa BUG Chase 5K run. The race was in favor of the Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club’s BUG Program. The BUG (Bring Up Grades) Program focuses on providing recognition to local elementary students who raise their grades to an acceptable range and maintain them from one grading period to the next.
Nova Southeastern University Fort Myers campus was part of this race and provided sponsorship. The run raised over $3000 and all proceeds are going directly to the BUG Program.
