FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – Judicial candidates running for Broward courts will take part in two free public forums held on Nova Southeastern University’s main campus and sponsored by NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center. The forums will allow judicial candidates to meet the community and engage in a panel discussion.
The first forum will feature judicial candidates for the Broward Circuit Court and will be held on Thursday, July 22, at 6 p.m. in the Miniaci Performing Arts Center at 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd. on NSU’s main campus in Davie.
The second forum will feature judicial candidates for the Broward County Court and will be held on Thursday, July 29, at 6 p.m. in the atrium of the Shepard Broad Law Center at 3305 College Ave. on NSU’s main campus in Davie.
Reservations for the forums are available at https://www.browardbar.org/judicialcandidates22.php or by calling the Broward Bar at 954-764-8040 ext. 203. A meet-and-greet session with the candidates will follow each forum.
The forums are being presented by Broward Judicial Watch, a coalition of voluntary bar associations and their respective leaders and representatives who are engaged in providing an opportunity for judicial candidates to meet the community during their judicial campaigns and provide information about the candidates to the community. All judicial candidates have been invited to attend on their respective dates and will have an opportunity to respond to questions compiled by the Broward Judicial Watch Committee.
