Broadway Veteran David Burnham to Perform at Nova Southeastern University

Star of Wicked to Sing Broadway Classics May 22 at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center

Ft. Lauderdale (Davie), FLA. – Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will welcome Broadway veteran David Burnham, star of Wicked and Light in the Piazza on May 22 to the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, on NSU’s main campus in Davie. Burnham’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m. A VIP reception will immediately follow.

David BurnhamPresented by Centerstage Productions, Mostly Broadway will take a musical journey, showcasing songs from classic and modern Broadway. Burnham will perform hits such as “As Long As You’re Mine” from Wicked, “Love To Me” from The Light In The Piazza, “Feeling Good” from Roar of the Greasepaint…, and “I Have Dreamed” from The King And I

The Miami Herald referred to Burnham as “a knockout both visually and vocally – is as good as it gets”. He was the 2007 recipient of the prestigious “Helen Hayes Award” for best actor as well as the 2007 best actor “Garland Award” for his portrayal of Fabrizio Nacarelli in the national tour of The Light In The Piazza.

General admission tickets are $40. VIP tickets are $100, and include preferred seating, the post-show VIP reception meet and greet, and a signed copy of Burnham’s newest CD David Burnham.
