Blues Festival at NSU Cancelled

FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla. – The 2009 South Florida International TM Blues Festival scheduled for Nov. 6-8 at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has been cancelled.

“In these trying economic times, we as a university must evaluate our priorities and ensure that they are in line with our academic mission,” said George Hanbury, Ph.D., executive vice president and COO at NSU. “While the blues festival has been a popular event at NSU, ultimately our academic programs take precedence and we made the decision to discontinue the festival.”

Anyone who already purchased tickets for the festival will automatically receive a full refund to their credit card. For questions regarding refunds, call 954-262-7228.
