At least a million people in the US are affected by the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Nova Southeastern University is home to a leading research practice for chronic fatigue syndrome.

In a recent interview with WLRN, Nancy Klimas, M.D.NSU’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, talked about the symptoms of an average person who has chronic fatigue syndrome. “So the symptoms are one of profound fatigue, a  fatigue and body pain that’s made much much worse by overexerting. And overexertion can be a very short walk down the driveway or going grocery shopping,” said Dr. Klimas.
