African Presence Art Exhibition kicks off NSU’s Black History Month Celebration, Feb. 3
Black History Month begins in February and NSU will kick off its celebration with the opening reception of the 14th Annual African Presence Art Exhibition on Friday, Feb. 3, 6:30 pm in the Don Taft University Center.
This year’s exhibition, “Afrotopia: Art and the Politics of Representation,” features depictions of black cultural experiences by artists of African descent. The exhibition, which will run through March 10, will be unveiled at 8:00 pm in the Alvin Sherman Library, Adolfo & Marisela Cotilla Gallery. Sponsored by the NSU Division of Public Relations & Marketing Communications.
