9th Annual FREE Summer of Fun Wraps Up with“Rock ‘n’ Roll Puppet Concert” at NSU’s Library – Sat. Aug. 7
FT. LAUDERDALE-DAVIE, Fla . – Families have been having a blast this summer without spending a dime by making the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) their one-stop shop for fun activities for all ages.
Don’t miss your last chance to join in and celebrate on Sat. Aug. 7 with:
- Mr. Brian and the Boppets: Sing and dance at Mr. Brian’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Puppet Concert. Open to all ages with caregiver, from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, 3100 Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd. in Davie.
For the ninth year in a row, NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library has hosted FREE programming for youth, teens and adults all summer long. Highlights included Salty Sue the Pirate, the Fantasy Factory Theatre, Geddy the Gecko, Duck in Truck Puppets, Jiggleman, Bobby the Balloon Guy’s Zany Balloon Show, Totally Tweens Tuesdays, Silly Stories with The Shermanettes, and monthly Beach Blanket Movies.
Come see Mr. Brian and the Boppets to celebrate the close of the summer series, and learn how the Alvin Sherman Library can help your family get ready to head back to school.
While at the library, don’t forget to pick up a packed schedule of fall events and avoid rental fees by stocking up on free check outs of the latest Blu-Rays, DVDs and video games.
