According to WalletHub, lovesick shoppers shell out more than $19 billion in Cupid’s name each year. That makes Valentine’s Day the third largest consumer holiday in the U.S.

In a recent interview, WalletHub asked John Gironda, Ph.D., associate professor of marketing, NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, to share some of his marketing tips to celebrate Valentine’s Day and stay on budget.
