Alvin Sherman Library to host World War I Programs and Exhibit
This year marks the centennial of the entry of the United States into World War I. Learn more about the impact this had on everyday lives and the making of America today as the NSU Alvin Sherman Library hosts a unique blend of programs and events.
This series of programs and exhibit are part of World War I and America, a two-year national initiative of The Library of America presented in partnership with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the National World War I Museum and Memorial, and other organizations, with generous support from The National Endowment for the Humanities.

NSU Associate Professor, Timothy Dixon, J.D., leads a 7 week reading and discussion series developed by the Library of America on the history of World War I and America using contemporary accounts.
