This Week in Shark Athletics

Get ready for a heaping helping of athletic action! The Sharks need you on the edge of your seat, screaming and showing your school spirit. It’s high-octane action you don’t want to miss! Get pumped, and take a bite out of Shark Athletics:

Men’s Basketball

NSU will host the Cruzin Classic on Dec. 17-18 at the Don Taft University Center. The Sharks will open up the Classic by colliding with Northwestern Ohio Racers on Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. The Racers are a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and this game will mark the first time the two programs have faced each other. The next day, NSU faces off against Franklin Pierce from the Northeast-10 conference. The Sharks own a 0-1 all-time series record against the Ravens.

Women’s Basketball

After nearly two weeks off, the women’s basketball team will face the Franklin Pierce University Ravens during the Cruzin Classic on Dec. 17 at the Don Taft University Center at 6 p.m. The Sharks collide with the Ravens for the first time in program history. The Ravens hail from Rindge, N.H., are a part of the Northeast-10 conference and compete in NCAA Division II.
