Two students from the College of Osteopathic Medicine were recently elected to the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Board of Trustees for 2014-2015. Britani Kessler, a fourth-year student, will become national president on May 1. Second-year student Kelly Thibert will become AMSA’s vice president for internal affairs. Both will sit on the organization’s board and represent nearly 40,000 physicians-in-training, maintain alliances with other organizations, and visit AMSA chapters across the country.
