Tournament: Men’s and Women’s SSC Basketball Championship – March 5

Beginning in just over two weeks, both the Nova Southeastern University men’s and women’s basketball teams will take part in the 2015 Sunshine State Conference Basketball Championship, to be held at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
The women’s portion of the bracket begins with the quarterfinal round on Thursday, March 5. The men’s quarters begin the following day, with each sides’ semifinal games on Saturday and the respective championship games on Sunday. Each Shark squad has qualified for the tournament, to determine the SSC’s automatic qualifier for the subsequent NCAA South Regional.
Click the links at the top of this page to view blank tournament brackets, as the matchups will be set closer to the end of the regular season. Currently, the women’s team is in second place, but are just a half-game behind Rollins. The men, with three conference games to go, are in fifth in the standings and could still finish as high as fourth.
The neutral site tournament, at the Silver Spurs Arena for the third consecutive year, features tickets for as low as $10 for general admission and court-level seating. Children under six are free. Here is more information on the upcoming Championships:

**One ticket gives admittance to an entire day, but has a NO RE-ENTRY policy. If spectators leave arena, they must purchase another ticket.
