Thinking Money Exhibit and Program, May 5

The NSU Alvin Sherman Library will host a series of programs in support of a new traveling exhibition, Thinking Money, designed to teach tweens, teens and the adults in their lives about money management in a way that is not only understandable, but fun.  The Library is one of 50 libraries nationwide selected to host Thinking Money. The American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office, in partnership with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, developed the exhibition.

Thinking Money, a traveling exhibition to U.S. libraries, will be on display at the NSU Alvin Sherman Library  from March 28 to May 6, 2018. Through an adventure-themed storyline, interactive iPad content and other fun activities, Thinking Money explores themes like wants vs. needs, preparing for a rainy/sunny day and imagining your future self.

In addition to the exhibit library staff have developed a series of programs on a wide range of topics related to financial literacy. topics include a series called Frugal is the New You!; a presentation by the NSU University School’s  Junior Achievement entrepreneurs; and a Financial Literary Fair.  A list can be found here: lib.nova.edu/thinkmoney
