Special Screening of new Guy Harvey Documentary, Jan. 30
Yucatán Whale Shark
Conservationist and world acclaimed marine artist Guy Harvey, Ph.D., is bringing his latest documentary – Whale Sharks of the Yucatán: A Guy Harvey Expedition – to the South Florida community. There is a special screening scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6-8 p.m. at NSU’s Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale, 1 E. Las Olas Blvd.
Joining Harvey will be Mahmood Shivji, Ph.D. from NSU’s Oceanographic Center and George Schellenger, two-time Emmy® award winning filmmaker/producer.
The cost to attend the film’s screening is $25, with proceeds benefitting NSU’s Guy Harvey Research Institute (GHRI). Ticket price also includes a light reception and an opportunity to meet and participate in a Q&A session with Harvey and Shivji from NSU and filmmaker Schellenger.
