SHSS Faculty and Students Speak at Human Trafficking Symposium

Judith McKay, J.D. Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies  in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences and two doctoral students, Regina Beradin and Katariina Juliao recently spoke at a symposium, “Human Trafficking: A Conundrum in the 21st Century?” sponsored by the Inter American Center for Human Rights at Shepard Broad Law School.

McKay’s presentation was entitled: “Human Trafficking in the US: Is it in your Neighborhood?” Beradin’s presentation was entitled, “Human Trafficking in Florida: A Local Problem,” and Juliao’s was entitled, “My Human Trafficking Story.”
