SHSS Faculty Member Featured in Washington Post article on Family Business

Patricia Cole, Ph.D.,  a faculty member in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences was interviewed for a Washington Post article entitled  “Shear Business: Can the divorced founders of Hair Cuttery run their salon together?”  In the article Cole pointed out that “Divorce does not always have to be a business killer.”

Cole has done extensive work with couples who own family businesses. Many of her family business research, writing, and presentations have addressed “copreneurs,” gender issues, and relationship problems.
