The Qualitative Report 2nd Annual Conference, Jan. 7-8

The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the TQR 2nd Annual Conference, which will be held Jan. 7 – 8, 2011 on the main campus of NSU. This annual conference is affiliated with The Qualitative Report, an online journal housed in SHSS. The theme of the conference is “Researching Identity and Identifying Researchers.”

A number of NSU faculty and graduate students will be presenting at the conference, as well as dozens of national and international scholars and researchers. The TQR Annual Conference is organized by Ron Chenail, Ph.D. D, Editor-in-Chief of TQR and is sponsored by SHSS. Chenail is the Program Director of the Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in SHSS. The Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research consists of six, three-credit hour online courses (18 credit hours) designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
