NBC’s Back to College Week – Let’s Show Shark Pride, Sept. 30
Are you proud to be an NSU Shark? Well, now you can demonstrate our pride to the South Florida community.
On Wednesday September 30, NBC-6 will be reporting LIVE from NSU for their special college week feature. NBC-6 will also feature other local colleges– but we want to show them why NSU is THE BEST. This is our day to shine, and we need your help!
Please join us at the NSU Don Taft University Center on the main campus at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30. Come dressed in your most spirited NSU gear and be ready to make some NOISE! Periodically, we will be LIVE on the NBC-6 newscast between 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Join Razor, the NSU cheerleaders, your friends and colleagues at this Shark pride-fest. And don’t forget to bring NSU or Shark signs, wear your Greek gear, show your organization pride, or even dress as a giant shark (anyone remember Left Shark!). Let’s show South Florida and beyond how remarkable NSU’s students, faculty and staff really are.
Throughout the live broadcast NSU will be giving away lots of goodies to NSU students, including food vouchers good at any NSU eatery on main campus, portable battery chargers for your smart phone or tablet, really cool NSU beach towels and more. Our grand prize giveaway is a brand new HP all-in-one wireless desktop printer, to be given away at the conclusion of NBC’s live broadcast (must be present to win).
Tell everyone – it’s time for all Sharks to come out and join in the fun!
