Sharks Swimming Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Recognition

CSCAA

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America has announced the 688 teams that have earned the distinction of Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2017 semester. Both the Nova Southeastern University men’s and women’s swimming teams were a part of that list. The women’s team finished the fall with a 3.29 grade point average, while the men’s team finished with a 3.05.

The teams represent 430 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester. This semester, 19 of the 34 from the women’s swimming team were above a 3.50 GPA. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.

Another CSCAA Scholar All-America team will be announced at the conclusion of the spring semester, where individual student-athletes will also be recognized.
